In 2011, Janne Ritskes (founder of Tabitha Foundation), in response to the lack of medical treatment available in Cambodia, particularly for cancer sufferers, decided to build a hospital to international standards, which would be free to those who could not afford to pay.
Since then, we have organised 8 long distance rides through Cambodia (1200km in 7 days) to raise funds for the construction of the hospital, raising over US$1,000,000 in the process.
The hospital officially opened in March 2019, however hospitals are expensive to run and funds are still needed to keep it operating. In addition, Nokor Tep Hospital is now to become the only treatment centre for Covid19 patients in Cambodia, putting even more strain on precious resources.
Please help us to keep this noble cause alive!
