Have you ever been to Nepal?
It is a very special place. It touches your soul. The people are humble and gentle, and right now they need your help.
Tourism stopped. Trafficking continues. Education and health care have never been so important. You can change the lives of a community from right where you are.
At Bright Futures of Bardia we have created something super fun and easy that you can do from ANY corner of the world together with a bunch of people in other corners of the world…all with the purpose of raising enough money to complete the building of a school.
Its called the Bright Futures of Bardia MOVE - A - THON
We are partnering up with people just like you virtually, and will have the chance to visit Kathmandu, Everest base camp, Mardi Himal, Bardia National Park and the school and health post act we are funding in Western Nepal.
Its super simple.
Simply jump on and join our challenge.
Wondering why we do what we do:
Access to education and health care is a basic human right, and is something most of us take for granted, but for many of these children growing up in a remote rural village in Western Nepal, this is far from their reality. Only a quarter of Nepalese children actually finish high school and many do not have access to a well equipped health post.
Our relationship with this community started in April 1996 when the BBAS school principal, then a young man, helped save the life of our founder, Jacqui Holth's husband. To show her appreciation, Since 1998 Jacqui and our team here at BFOB have raised funds to buy land, build 5 new classrooms, a new bathroom block, renovate 10 old classrooms, provide health post equipment, fund health education initiatives for women and girls, feed families during Covid and are currently in the process of building a science lab, computer lab, library and early learning centre.
Your donation will contribute to the next phase which will see 5 additional and final classrooms built at the school to replace the last of the unsafe bamboo and mud classrooms, as well as provide much needed health care equipment.
Thank you.
You are making a difference through your support.
