As a participant in this challenge, you are supporting local refugee communities to make positive changes to their lives – to take back control and plan for their future. The majority of refugees choose to stay in their region of origin; to maintain their culture and to keep a sense of identity that is special to them. REI supports projects run by the communities because we know they understand what is required and we see the results. Participants regain a sense of dignity and go on to work towards a brighter future. Community-led change is durable and important for all our futures.
