EAST AFRICAN PLAYGROUNDS

ABOUT THE GROUP

East African Playgrounds is a charity dedicated to helping vulnerable children heal from trauma through play. We have helped over half a million children access safe and exciting play in just over 10 years. The organisation is proud to have installed over 350 playgrounds and delivered play-based training that supports health, wellbeing and educational outcomes for children in East Africa. But, there is more to be done and now, more than ever before, children will need the support of people like you to help aid recovery through the power of play.

When you take part in the Race to Bidibidi, not only will you have oodles of fun, stay connected to your friends, family and colleagues, you’ll be having a direct impact on East African Playgrounds’ ability to continue to deliver its programmes to vulnerable children and communities in Bidibidi – the world’s second largest refugee settlement.

And any funds raised by UK residents, as you race to Bidibidi, between now and 1st June will be will be macthed by the UK government.
