Laborers and wrestlers who are both wrestling with life, and winning...
Wrestle Like A Girl, Inc., (“WLAG”) is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to use the sport of wrestling to empower girls and women to become leaders in life. We remove barriers to participation and provide opportunities to wrestle.
Girls’ wrestling is the fastest growing high school sport in the United States. Wrestling builds self- confidence, strengthens physical and mental resilience, and teaches people to persevere through adversity to reach their full potential. As one of the oldest competitive sports in the world1, wrestling has historically only offered these leadership lessons to men and boys. Today, WLAG is opening wrestling to girls and women, leading the push for equal access, equal opportunity, and equal leadership development through wrestling.
Wrestling builds leaders. We hope you will join us in ensuring women and girls have equal opportunity to wrestle and lead.
