SBH Scotland provide a lifelong commitment of specialist support and information to all those affected by the lifelong, complex disabilities of spina bifida, hydrocephalus and related conditions. Through every stage in life the family support and clinical staff teams at SBH Scotland are there to offer a range of services including: A helpline, antenatal support, intensive support at birth, 1-2-1 personalised play and development sessions, financial support, family support groups, outings, adult social groups, adapted accessible holiday cottage in Carnoustie and health check clinics in their purpose built support centre or via video conferencing.
Every year this Scottish charity need to raise over £1million to continue their crucial support and clinical services. With little statutory funding this is a tough challenge so they rely on amazing corporate support, individual fundraising challenges, trusts and the goodwill of volunteers.
SBH Scotland believe that having a baby with spina bifida or hydrocephalus is not the end. It's just the beginning and thanks to fundraising challenges like this one and your amazing participation this specialist charity can be there for every person who asks for help.
Thank you.
